About IIT Delhi:
Indian Institute of technology Delhi is situated in Delhi and founded in 1961 also popularly known as IIT Delhi. It is one of the Top Engineering and Research Institutes.
The University was ranked 2 by NIRF 2023 and 1 by India today 2023 in the engineering category.
IIT Delhi provides major courses in B.tech and M.tech so that their admission criteria are based on JEE Advanced exam score and followed by JOSAA counseling and GATE score. Other courses which IIT Delhi provides are MBA, M DES, MSC etc. For the admission they are required to pay the application fees online through the official website of the institutes. They need some documents at the time of admission .
At the time of admission the institutes provide scholarships to their students such as for UG, PG in different modes . For UG programs scholarship categories are 1. Institute merit cum means scholarship in which whose parental income does not exceed 4.5L provide 1000 INR and tuition fee exemption. 2. Institute merit prizes and certificates provide benefits to top 7% students of each 4 year and 5year dual degree offered benefit of one- time award of INR 2,500 3. Institute free studentship provides benefits to 10% students admitted 4.Scholarship for SC/ST/Pwd students are based on their parents or guardian income 5. Donor scholarship provides benefits from different individuals, organizations etc. And for PG Programms also there are different scholarships such as 1. Scholarship for MSC Students whose parental income is less than 4.5L they provide INR 1000 per month and tuition fee exemption 2. Scholarship for M.Tech , MS( Research) and MDes students scholarship provided by industries and individuals
From IIT Delhi almost 48,000 graduate from several courses and 5070 are from Phd degree.
They offer various courses to their students such as UG, PG and various courses. The institute also has collaboration with more than 100 other universities.
The institute also has 2 other satellite campuses which are situated in Sonipat, Jhajjar. The International campus is situated in Abu Dhabi.
The institutes offer placements to their students onboard also and there are companies which visit the campus for placements are Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, Deloitte, Filpkart, Hindustan Unilever, JP Morgan etc from the campus 1050 students receive placement offers. Students get placed in core fields such as IT, Technical, management and analysis, counseling, teaching, research and finance sector. There are 370 companies which participate for placement and there are 50 International offers and 700 job profiles offered.
IIT Delhi cut offs are based on some parameters such as the cut offs released on the basis of the JOSAA counseling. Therefore the cut offs are reached between 350-800 marks.
