About Christian Medical College
The Christian Medical College founded in 1942 situated in Vellore and it is a private college which was acknowledged by Medical Council of India (MCI), also operated by Christian Community. The Christian Medical College, Vellore firstly was started with a one-bedded hospital now it has an attached 2500 bedded hospital as a healthcare organization. This healthcare organization of international repute includes a network of primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary care.
It has 2 campuses i.e the Main Campus located in Vellore and the other one is in Bagayam city which is 7 km away from the main campus.
There are some courses which were acknowledged by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), India and there is a laboratory acknowledged by NABL named as Microbiology Laboratory. The University provided a wide range of courses in the field of UG, PG, Diploma and many more in the field of Medicine, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing and Hospital Management.They also provided distance learning courses to their students.
CMC 2024-2025 ranked under many categories and they stood on 3rd rank according to the NIRF and India Today 2023 category, 1st by Outlook category and by IIRF it ranked 2 in Medical category and 1st in Nursing by 2023 . It is one of the famous colleges situated in Vellore and Tamil Nadu yielding top ranks every year.
CMC 2024-2025 university accepts eligibility criteria for the admission on the basis of 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% and they accept exams such as CBSE 12 , ISC, Tamil Nadu12, AP EAMCET, BIEAP and the University provides admission in the field of UG, PG, Diploma and Doctoral courses. For the students who want to take admission in this college they must have a valid score in NEET UG, NEET PG and NEET SS if they want admission in MBBS, MD/MS and DM/M.CH programs respectively. The candidates can apply for admission on the official website of the CMC for which they need to follow some rules such as: 1. They need to visit the official website of the college 2. After this the candidates need to select the “ Student” under the “ Are you” category on the Home Page 3. Then they need to click on the apply courses they want to register 4. After completing all the process the candidate needs to submit the application before the last date and pay the required fees for further process. 5 For submission candidates need to take the print out of the application form.
CMC 2024-2025 Vellore cut-offs are dependent on the various factors such as the number of students, difficulty level of the exam , total no of seats available and performance of the candidate in NEET and previous year NEET cut off trends. And they released the cut -off soon after the publication of NEET UG results. The cut-offs are for various categories such as for BC category the expected cut-off in round 1 are 147, For General Category the expected cut-off in round 1 are 112, For MBC category the expected cut-off in round 1 are 677, For SC category the expected cut-off in round 1 are 2077 and for For ST category the expected cut-off in round 1 are 13626.
The CMC 2024-2025 provides placements to their students in both UG and PG fields. The CMC also provides benefits to their students such as they can practice in their hospital during their rotational internships. The University also sent their students to work with whom they associated for the bond of 2 years. The top recruiters which visited the CMC are WFPM Mission Hospital, TCS, The Leprosy Mission India, AIIMS, Scudder Memorial Hospital, Neyyor Mission Hospital, Sanofi, MAMC as these are the recruiters which provides placement to the students at the package of course such as for PG (2 year) median package is INR 6.4 LPA and for PG (3 year) median package is INR 10.52 LPA.

The Scholarships are provided to the students on the basis of their economic status under which they cover all the part of the total fees as well as the accommodation cost.CMC Vellore provides costly programmes such as MBBS at the very less amount of fees to their students which they can afford them as the candidates came across from outside the India also.
