AILET 2025: Exam Date, Application and Syllabus
The AILET 2025 exam will be scheduled and released through online mode in the first week of August 2024. Exams will also be conducted through online mode in the first week of December 2024. Application Fee

- The candidates can submit the application form through online facilities such as Credit Card/ Debit Card and net banking
- For the general category the application fees will be of Rs. 3,500.
- The application fee for the reservation category such as ST/ SC/ PWD will be of Rs. 1,500

AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the complete 2025 eligibility criteria information for the candidates:
For B.A.LL.B (Hons.)Course
- Qualifying Exam: Qualification: The candidates must pass the class 12th from the recognized board/ university
- Marks: Those candidates who need to apply for this exam must obtain at least 45% for general category and 40% aggregate are required for the SC/ ST category.
- Appearing: Those candidates in the class 12th are also eligible to apply.
- Age Criteria: There will be no age limit for this exam
For LL.M Course
- Qualifying Exam: Qualification: The candidates must pass the LLB or some equal graduation degree from the recognized board/ university for the UG courses.
- Marks: Those candidates who need to apply for this exam must obtain at least 50% for general category and 45% aggregate are required for the SC/ ST category.
- Appearing: Those candidates in the final year of LL.B are also eligible to apply.
- Age Criteria: There will be no age limit for this exam
For PhD Programmes
- Qualifying Exam: Qualification: The candidates must pass the LLM or equal Law degree from the recognized board/ university for the UG courses.
- Marks: Those candidates who need to apply for this exam must obtain at least 55% for general category and 50% aggregate are required for the SC/ ST category.
- Age Criteria: There will be no age limit for this exam
AILET 2025 Exam Pattern
Below are some points related to the AILET exam pattern 2025. Kindly check it;
- Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode
- Exam Duration: Duration of paper will be of 120 min.
- Number of Sections: There will be a total of 3 sections and each section carries different marks and questions.
- Total Questions: There will be 150 questions in B.A LL.B Hons and in LL.M course there will be a total of 100 questions.
- Type of Questions: There will be objective questions in the paper
- Marking: 1 marks will be awarded as for each correct answer
- Negative Marking: For incorrect answers 0.25 marks will be deducted.

AILET 2025 Syllabus
The AILET 2025 syllabus will be released by the authority in online mode on the website. For the UG course there are various sections such as English, GK and Current Affairs and Logical reasoning. Before appearing for the exam candidates must check the information of the syllabus.
AILET 2025 Admit Card
Those who are registered are able to download their admit card in the fourth week of November 2024 through online mode. For downloading the admit card candidates need to fill in the details such as login ID and password and for the exams. The admit card is compulsory for the candidate on the day of the exam and follows all the instructions given in it.
Also students must keep their admit card safe for the counseling as they contain many details such as candidate’s name, exam date and time, roll number, exam instructions etc.
AILET 2025 Result
The candidates will be able to download their AILET 2025 results in the third week of December 2024 as they declare the result online on the same day and for the result candidates are needed to fill in the login details such as User ID and Password.
Those candidates who are getting qualified are requested to keep the hardcopy of the admit card for the counseling and seat allotment process.
AILET 2025 Cut-off
The cut-off list will be released through online mode by the authority after the results get declared. The cut-off for the category such as general, OBC, EWS was 60-65, 45-50 and 38-40 respectively. For getting admission to NLU Delhi the candidates need to qualify minimum marks for the cut-off.
AILET 2025 Counselling
Only those candidates appear for the counselling process, those who are qualified in this exam through online mode.
The counselling procedure is based on the various rounds and it consists of a total of 4 rounds as it will provide admission to shortlisted students. For confirming the seat allotment the candidates need to pay the admission fee.
