CLAT 2025: Notification, Latest Updates and Registration
The CLAT exam, also Known as the Common law admission test schedule which will be held on 1 December 2024. The Consortium of National Law Universities conducted the CLAT 2025 exam and it is a national level exam also they released the notification soon.
If the candidates want to take admission, this exam provides courses such as 5 year integrated LLB (UG) and one year LLM (PG) law courses. This provides admission in UG courses at 24 NLUs and 21NLUs in PG courses. The eligibility criteria for this exam is that the candidates must have passed out their 12th or hold a bachelor degree.

CLAT 2025 Application Form

- The application process for CLAT 2025 exam will be started by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for both UG and PG from the first week of July 2024
- The candidates can fill the application form through online mode only there is no facility of offline mode.

Application Fee

- The candidates can submit the application form through online facilities such as Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Pay Wallet/ RUPay.
- The candidates can submit the form of CLAT 2025 through online mode only.

CLAT 2025 Exam Pattern
Below are some points related to the CLAT exam pattern 2025. Kindly check it;
- Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode that is (Pen-Paper based)
- Exam Duration: Duration of paper will be of 2 hours.
- Number of Sections: For UG courses there will be a total of 5 sections.
- Total Questions: There will be 120 questions for both UG and PG exam
- Type of Questions: There will be both subjective and objective questions in the paper
- Marking: 1 marks will be awarded as for each correct answer
- Negative Marking: For incorrect answers 0.25 marks will be deducted.
CLAT 2025 Syllabus
The CLAT 2025 syllabus will be released by the authority in online mode on the website. For the UG course there are various sections such as English, GK and Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical reasoning. Before appearing for the exam candidates must check the information of the syllabus.
CLAT 2025 Admit Card
Those who are registered are able to download their admit card in the third week of November 2024 by which they cannot send the admit card through authority in the offline mode to the candidates as it will be published by the Consortium of NLUs. For downloading the admit card candidates need to fill in the details such as login ID and password and for the exams. The admit card is compulsory for the candidate on the day of the exam and follows all the instructions given in it. If the candidates find any error in the admit card then they can contact the authority for the issue.
Also students must keep their admit card safe for the counseling as they contain many details such as candidate’s name, exam date and time, roll number, exam instructions etc.
CLAT 2025 Result
The candidates will be able to download their CLAT 2025 results in the third week of December 2024 as they declare the result online by Consortium of NLUs. and for the result candidates are needed to fill the login details such as User ID and Password.
Those candidates who are getting qualified are requested to keep the hardcopy of the admit card for the counseling and seat allotment process.
CLAT 2025 Cut-off
The cut-off list will be released through the website in online mode and available to the students after the declaration of the result. The cut-off list will be released for both UG and PG courses and it will also be released after each round of counseling and during seat allotment process for all National Law Universities which have participated. The cut-off will be based on the various factors such as difficulty level, change in seat intake and matrix etc.
CLAT 2025 Counselling
The CLAT counselling 2025 will be organized by the Consortium of NLUs and scheduled from the last week of December 2024. Only those candidates appear for the counseling process, those who are qualified in this exam. For taking admission in the NLUs the candidates need to make the preference online during counseling procedure by the centralized counseling procedure.
The counseling procedure is based on the various rounds as it will provide admission for both UG and PG. The seat allotment will be released after each round of counseling for each participating NLUs.
