Poornima University founded in the year 2012 and situated in Jaipur in Sitapura Industrial Area, PU ranked at 34th position in North India among best B Schools & also ranked 23 in India among Best Private Universities. The University has also released 11 copyrights, 137 patents in the last 3 years. The University is also awarded a Diamond, Gold, Platinum University Rating by QS-1Gauge.
Also, the University has successfully completed over 21 government projects in the last 3 years. PU provides courses such as Post Graduate, Diploma in the field of Commerce, Management , Design, Science, Computer Application, Hotel Management , Public Health etc . And the University also admitted through merit results for which they accepted scores of CAT, CMAT,JEE,JEE MAINS etc by this merit result they also provided scholarships to the students.Poornima University Admission Eligibility Criteria:
- For UG (Except B.Sc HHA and diploma FP) students must have passed the class 12 exam.
- The norms for the students who want to take admission in the course (B.Sc HHA and diploma FP) then there is no age limit. .
- The norms for the Lateral Entry admission there also have no age limit.
- The norms for all PG programmes there also have no age limit.
- The norms for the transfer admission are that the candidate must have 1st year marksheet, NOC, TC and migration required with them
The Poornima University provided scholarships to their students in the field of UG and PG courses for the 1st year and the scholarships are given to the eligible students as financial assistance. For some scholarships they considered the current session score and various scholarships are given on tuition fees only. If the students scored good marks in their semester exams then their scholarships will be continued. There are many scholarships which provided to their students such as: Merit based scholarship, Gayatri Girls Scholarships, Sports Scholarships, Tribute to Martyr Scholarship,Scholarship scheme for transgender students and Non-professional course enhancement and Reimbursement of Tuition fees
The Poornima University 2024-2025 released their cut-off by NCHMCT-JEE and the cut-off of B.SC hospital and Hotel Administration are as follows: The Cut-off in 2023 are 7341 and the cut-off in 2022 and 2021 are 9495.
PU also conducted events like Lakshay where they brought celebrities for different days. Recently they also collaborated with Rajasthan Royals Teams to encourage sportsmanship. Poornima University Admission 2024-2025
In this University students get admission through the college entrance exam for which they accept the merit score in the national level exam like CAT, CMAT, GATE etc. as they provide various courses in different fields. The University provides admission in the field of BCA, B.Arch, B.Des, BVA, B.Sc , B.Com and other UG courses. For PG they provide courses such as MCA, M.Tech MHA, M.Des. If they want to apply for the admission in the college first they go to the official website of the college then students need to create their login ID then they fill the application form for “New User Registration” after this they need to pay the application fee of INR 1,200. After completing all the process now the students can verify & submit their document.
There are eligibility criteria for admission also as the students want to appear:
- For UG and PG courses they need to qualifying their last exam
- Those who want to take admission in MBA they need to clear the entrance exam such as CAT/ CMAT for which their result is based on the merit score.
- For B.tech courses the PU conducts their entrance exam by which they can fill the 70% of seats and 15% seats filled through JEE MAIN score and the rest 15% can filled through merit at 10+2 criteria.
- If any students want to take admission in PhD courses then for them university conducts Research Aptitude Test. ( RAT)
- Those who want to take admission in Geographic Information System which is a certificate course for 3 months with a total fees of INR 10,000.
- For M.Tech courses, if a candidate wants to take admission then they can apply through their merit in the GATE exam for admission.
- Those who want to take admission in the field of BSC in Hospitality and Hotel administration the University accept the score of NCHM JEE with the merit in the qualifying exam.
