The Indian state of Rajasthan is home to the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), which is located in Udaipur. This institution was established by the Rajasthani government on November 1, 1999, when Rajasthan Agriculture institution, Bikaner, split off.
Since then, it has served as the primary academic institution for the southern and southeastern regions of Rajasthan, assuming national responsibility for the identification, development, preparation, and adaptation of novel production technology approaches for the advancement of agriculture. It covers the following seven districts in Rajasthan: Rajsamand, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Banswara.
MPUAT is associated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), approved by the AICTE, and accredited by the ICAR. The institute provides graduate-level, postgraduate, and doctorate-level courses in engineering, technology, agriculture, fisheries, dairy, and food.
The university consists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Livestock Research Stations, Dry Land Farming Research Stations, Agricultural Research Stations, and Agricultural Research Sub Stations in addition to its six member institutions–

MPUAT Admission
Merit in both the entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam determines MPUAT admission, application forms are available both online and offline.
- The prerequisite for admission to B.Tech programs is a 10+2 diploma from the Rajasthan Board or any other recognized board. Additionally, they met the JET, JEE Mains, and ICAR AIEEA entrance exam cutoff scores.
- The merit score from the most recent exam, which is followed by an interview, determines admission to the B.Sc., B.F.Sc., and M.F.Sc. programs.The applicant needs to have completed 10+2 in the necessary subjects.
- A 50% aggregate from BE/B.Tech and the GATE exam determine admission to M.Tech programs.
- The selection criteria for MBA admissions are internal exams, followed by GD and PI.
- The Ph.D. candidate is required to have passed the pre-qualified test and to have cleared the UGC-NET, JRF, and SET.

- Alternatively, candidates may fill out the registration form offline, and it will be turned in to the college within a certain amount of time.
