Established in 1962 by an Act, Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) formerly known as Udaipur University is a state university in Udaipur that serves about 2.25 lakh students to meet the region’s demands for higher education in Southern Rajasthan.
MLSU was founded in 1962 and has received a “A+” accreditation from the NAAC in addition to recognition from AICTE, PCI, UGC, and BCI. In the NIRF 2023 Rankings, MLSU is also placed 73rd in the Pharmacy category. The MLSU campus occupies 607 acres and is home to four constituent institutions as well as about 190 associated colleges from the districts of Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, and Sirohi.
One of the main goals of higher education is the creation of new knowledge through research. MLSU Courses
The university’s main effort to generate human resources that are more skilled and employable has been the regular review of existing courses and the launch of new courses of current national and international importance. MLSU Admission
MLSU admission process is conducted based on both merit list and entrance exam. Candidates can apply through online for the admission in their desire course. Most of the MLSU courses accept admission on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. Selected candidates are required to appear for the counselling round for the final confirmation of the admission seat.
For MLSU MBA and BTech admission, candidate must appear entrance exams like MAT and JEE main respectively. The final selection for both courses will be done through the REAP counselling based on scores obtained in the entrance examination.
In order to admit students to postgraduate self-financing courses, the university holds an entrance exam. A test of entrance is also administered by MLSU to students wishing to enroll in BALLB, LLB, and LLM legal programs.
