About DHSGU 

The Dr. Harisingh Gouar Vishwavidyalaya Sagar also known as the Dr. Harisingh Gour University and it is the Central University which was founded in the year 1946. This University is situated in Madhya Pradesh and is the oldest and biggest University in India. 

The University is acknowledged by the UGC and certified by the NAAC with an ‘A’ + grade and it provides 30+ courses in the field of Humanities, Science and Technology, Business Management, Journalism and Mass Communication, Education etc. under the UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate and Doctorate programs. 

The DHSGU organized the Common University Entrance Test which is conducted by the NATA  for providing the admission to their candidates under the UG and PG courses.

And the university conducts the counseling process for providing the admission to the final selected candidates which is based on their CUET scores. 

If the candidates wish to take admission in the B.Tech course then it will be followed by the JOSAA counseling which is based on their JEE Main rank. And if the candidates wish to take admission in the PH.d course then it will be based on a personal round which is followed by a written test. 

The DHSGU provides various cut-off lists in the specialization of B.Tech. The closing rank for the B.Tech in CSE is 60,415. The closing rank for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering has a 3 round rank for the general category of 71, 514 and it is the second toughest course to get admission in this university. 

For OBC category the B.Tech CSE is the competitive course as it has rank of 21,218 under 3 round closing rank and under B.Tech field the easiest course to get admission is B.Tech in food engineering and technology under the closing rank of 34,987.

DHSGU Admission 2024-25

1. The candidates need to visit the official website of the university
2. If the candidates are done with the registration part then they can move for the application process. 
3. Now the candidates are required to fill the correct information in the application form such as academic history, test results, selected courses and personal information. 
4. Upload all the documents in the given format. 
5. After completing all the details now candidates can fill the application form online. 
6. After submission the candidates can take out the print out of the application form for their future preference.

DHSGU Result 2024-25

Those candidates can check their 2024-25 result through a website who registered in the university and the university organized their exams twice in a year. Below are the steps for the students by which they can check their result: 

1. The students need to visit the official website of the university
2. After this they can need to click on the examination tabs
3. Under the university examination tab the candidates find their academic details 
4. Then for the result the students can click on the result link
5. Then all the announced result for all the subjects will be visible here 
6. For downloading the result students need to click on the particular course. 

DHSGU Placement 2024-25

The Dr. Harisingh Gour University provides placement to their students in the top companies and as per the NIRF 2023 report more than 40+ students got placed from their campus and some of the top companies that visited the campus are EXTNCO Pvt. DHSGU Scholarship 2024-25

The DHSGU provide scholarships to their students in different forms for which the eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through UGC official website and through National Scholarship Portal. If the candidates want to benefit from the scholarship then they must have to fill in all the required details and submit all necessary documents to avail the scholarship benefits. And the university provides scholarships to their students such as: 

1. Post Matric scholarships for students with disabilities fellowships 
2. Non-Net Fellowship to research students
3. PG Merit scholarship for University Rank Holders by UGC 

DHSGU Campus and facilities 

The Dr. Harisingh Gour University provides facilities to all the students so that they can enjoy the university life in the campus premises itself and the campus is located 5 km east of Sagar City and has 36 University Teaching Department, 11 schools and 19 affiliated colleges and with this they provides services to their students and staff in the form of Bank, hostel, Mental Health Counseling, Canteens, Employment and Guidance bureau etc.
