About Andhra University: 

Andhra University was founded in 1926 and is one of the oldest educational institutions in the country which comes under the category of Public University. 

The University provides 313 courses such as UG and PG level in the field of Arts, Commerce, Management, Science and Technology, Engineering, Law, Pharmacy and Education. The University also  presently was ranked 43rd by NIRF 2023 in the University category with this University has 5 constituent colleges and 4 AU campuses. 

The AU is certified by NAAC under ‘ A’ grade. Also the University provides School of Distance Education courses ranging from Certificate courses to Post graduate and Professional Courses. 

Those students want to take admission 2024-2025  in the AU campus, then the University conducts the application process through online mode. In this University the admission in UG and PG is based on the merit score in their last qualifying exam, state level or entrance level exam such as AUEET, AUSIB, AP ECET, AP EAPCET etc. Those who want to take admission in the B.Arch course there admission are considered on the basis of national exam level such as NATA scores. And for those who want to take admission in a Ph.D course then their admission is based on the entrance exam which is later followed by the interview process which is conducted by the University. 

The AU also created 16 Industry- sponsored research chairs which are named as: 1. AU RINL (bioArbor) Medical Genetics Centre, 2. AU AVANTHI COE for Marine Skill Development, 3. AU- Saint LUKES Dolby Atmos Studio,  4. AU NASSCOM COE for Internet of things, 5. AU- ROSYS COE for Drone Technology,  6. Element Pharma Incubation and Product Testing, Bio Monitoring Centre, 7. Startup and Incubation center and Algorithm which is a digital center of AU  with 25 smart classrooms. 

The Andhra University 2024-2025 is ranked as 43 by the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the University category and also ranked as 76 by the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the Overall category 

The University provides placements to their students and according to the NIRF 2023 report the companies offered a median package of INR 3 LPA to their UG 3year students and the median package which is offered to their PG 2 year students is INR 6.5 LPA. According to the report of 2022 the top companies which came for the placement were Google, TCS, Infosys, Amazon etc.

Andhra University Admission 2024-2025 

Those students want to take admission 2024-2025  in the AU campus, then the University conducts the application process through online mode.  Application Process: 

1. First the candidate needs to visit the official website of the university. 
2. After this they need to fill out the application form which is available online. 
3. Then the candidate needs to select the course for which they want to take admission and for that they can select the exam for that course. 
4. After filling the application form then the candidate can pay the application fees 
5. After the process is done the candidates need to take an entrance test and for which they have to wait for the cut-off list released by the University. 
6. If the candidate’s name appears on the merit list then they have to appear for the  counseling session which is conducted by the University. 
7. Then after all the process is done then they need to submit the necessary documents for verification. 
8. After the verification, the admission is confirmed.

Andhra University Scholarships 2024-2025: 

The Andhra University Scholarships provided to the University students so that they can complete their education without any burden of financial institution. Also provide scholarships to those candidates who secured merit in their academics session and who belonged to the low economic background. There are 2 scholarships which are provided by the university to their students named  as  1. Merit Social Welfare / Tribal Welfare Scholarship:  This scholarship is provided to those students who are eligible and have been provided merit Social Welfare / Tribal Welfare Scholarship from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh also UGC / AICTE fellowship are given to the PG GATE qualified students.  2. BTH Merit Scholarship:  This scholarship is provided to those students who are eligible to apply for BTH Merit Scholarship so that they can get some further reduction on the existing  fees. The selection of this scholarship can be done on the basis of merit score secured by the students in their academic excellence among all the international students.

1. To avail the scholarships students first need to visit the official website of the scholarship. 
2. Then they are required to fill out the application form. 
3. After this they need to attach all necessary documents.
4. After completing all the process the candidate needs to submit the form and check on the status on a timely basis.
