PUCET 2025 PG Application (Till 25 May), Dates and Admit Card

PUCET exam also known Punjab University  Common Entrance Test and it is a University Level Entrance Exam which will be scheduled in second week of May 2025 through online mode and for PUCET exam Punjab University,Chandigarh is the conducting body who organized exam every year for offering the admission to the candidates in various courses such as Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Technology under various UG and PG programs.

PUCET 2025 Application Form 

Below are the important details for the application form 2025 candidates must check out the steps given below: 

1. The application form of PUCET will be released through online mode
2. The registration form will be filled by the candidates for UG courses  in the fourth week of March 2025 and  the form will be filled in the third week of April 2025 for the PG course by the candidates. 
3. The candidates are required to fill in the details after the registration process such as personal, educational, and communicational details. 
4. The size and format will be given to the candidates for uploading the scanned images of the documents in the application form. 
5. The correction window will not be available to the candidates if they want to make any changes in the details which are filled by them in the application form so its the duty of the candidates that all the details provided by them in the application form are correct
6. The candidates will be able to submit the application form for the UG course till the fourth week of April 2025 and for the PG course  the last date to submit the form will be in the third week of May 2025. 
7. Now the candidates are able to take the print of the application form for their future preference. 

Application fees: 

1. The submission of the fees will be done by the candidates through online mode 
2. The fees will be able to be paid by the candidates through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
3. The fee will not be refundable to the candidates in any circumstances once the payment is done by them.

How to Apply for PUCET 2025 

Below are the steps provided for the candidates for how to applying for the PUCET: 

1. The candidates must go through the official website 
2. The registration process can be done by the candidates by providing the basic details and note down the login credential.
3. Candidates need to enter the basic details such as personal, educational, contact etc. 
4. In the given format the candidates need to upload the passport size photographs and signature. 
5. The application fee will be submitted by the candidates through online facilities. 
6. The complete details must be rechecked by the candidates in the form 
7. Candidates can take out the print of the application form once the fee will be submitted by them. 

PUCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria is given below for the candidates as they are advised to fulfill those criteria for the exam: 

For UG Course: 

• Qualification: The candidates must have cleared their class 10+2 level from any recognized board 
• Marks:  To be eligible At least 50% marks are obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. 
• Subject: In qualifying exam the candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology 
• Appearing: To be appearing for the exam the candidates who are in class 12th will also be eligible. 

For PG course: 

• Qualification: To be eligible for the exam the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree
• Marks: Marks criteria will be given to the students according to the courses 
• Subject: For the admission those candidates are eligible who are appearing in the final year. 

PUCET 2025 Exam Pattern 

Below are the details regarding PUCET Exam Pattern candidates must go through them before applying: 

• Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode only. 
• Duration: To solve the paper a total 70 min will be given to the candidates for the PUCET UG and for the PUCET PG a total 1 hour and 30 min will be given to the candidates
• Medium: Only the English language is accepted in the exam. 
• Type of Questions: The question paper will be based on the multiple choice type questions. 
• Marking scheme: For every correct answer in PUCET UG 2 marks will be awarded and for PUCET PG exam 1 mark will be awarded 
• Negative Marking: For wrong answers in PUCET UG exam 25% marks will be deducted and for PUCET PG exam no negative marking will be done

PUCET 2025 Admit Card 

The PUCET 2025 admit card will be published through online mode in the second week of May 2025 for downloading the admit card candidates will require login details such as login ID  and password. 

For the exam it will be compulsory for the students to carry their admit card along with the one ID proof at the examination hall as no candidate will be allowed to give the exam without the admit card. Before the exam it is necessary for the candidates to read the given instructions carefully as it will be followed during the examination. 

PUCET 2025 Answer Key 

The University will release  the answer key 2025 through online mode for the students in the third week of May 2025 and in the PDF format after the exam starts. 

If any mistakes were found by the candidates then they will be able to raise the objection against the answer key and with the help of experts the authority will verify the objections which will be raised by the students and after that release the answer key. 

PUCET 2025 Result 

For PUCET UG the result will be published in the fourth week of May 2025 and in the first week of July 2025 the result will be published for the PUCET PG through online mode so the candidates can access their results easily by the website. For downloading the result candidates will use the login credentials as the result will not be provided individually to the candidates by the authority. The result will contain information such as the total marks of candidate, name, roll number etc. 

PUCET 2025 Counseling 

After the merit list is released the counseling procedure will be started by the PUCET 2025 through online mode so that candidates who are qualified will be called for the counseling process. 

For the counseling procedure the candidates are requested that they must be present on the specific date and time at the counseling venue. At the allotted centre the candidates must carry their required documents and certificates for documents verification process. The candidates seat allotment will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in the aptitude test/ qualifying exams.
