The Punjab Technical University was later renamed as IK Gujral Punjab Technical University which is also known as IKGPTU and it is situated in Jalandhar India. The University level admission procedure is organized every year by the IKGPTU and the PTU 2025 exam will be scheduled in the first week of June 2025.

PTU 2025 Admission Date

PTU 2025 Application Form 

Below is the information provided for the candidates related to the PTU 2025 Application Form: 

1. The application process for the PTU 2025 exam will start in the first week of June 2025
2. The candidates can fill the application form through online mode only. 
3. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before moving forward with the registration process. 
4. Now the candidates can start filling the details in the application form such as qualification, personal details, communication details etc. 
5. Now the candidates are required to upload the scanned documents for the application form such as signature and photograph in the JPG/ JPEG format. 
6. If the candidates make any mistake in the application then the authority will not provide any correction facility to rectify the mistake. 
7. The candidates can complete their registration process till the 1st week of July 2025.

Application Fee: 

1. The PTU 2025  application fee for all the categories will be of Rs.1,000
2. The application fee will be submitted by candidates through online mode. 
3. The candidate will submit the fees through online methods such as debit card, credit card, net banking method etc. 
4. If the application fees will be submitted by the candidates then it will not be refunded in any circumstances.

PTU 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Below are the complete 2025 eligibility criteria information for the candidates:

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech 

1. Qualification: The candidates must pass the class 10+2 level  from the recognized board/ university 
2. Subjects: For B.Tech candidates need to have Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry with the one of computer science/ Biology.  
3. Marks: The candidates are eligible only when they have at least 45%and for reserved category the candidate must have 40% aggregate marks with them. 
4. Appearing: Those candidates who are appear in the qualifying exam they are also eligible

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech 

1. Qualification: The candidates must completed their graduation in B.Tech/ B.E from the recognized board/ university 
2. Marks: Only those candidates are eligible for this exam who are having 50% aggregate marks in their last qualifying exam and for the reserved category the candidates must have 45% as aggregate marks.
3. Appearing: Those candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply. 

PTU 2025 Result 

The candidates will be able to download their PTU  2025 results and they declare the result online after the commencement of the result and for the result candidates are needed to fill in the login details such as User ID and Password.  The candidate’s result contains information such as name, rank, marks etc and the candidate’s admission is based on the result of those who are selected .

The candidates are requested to keep the hardcopy of the result safe with them for further preference. 

PTU 2025 Cut-off 

For the PTU 2025 exam cut-off is the only minimum marks required for the candidate to qualify. The cut-off prepared by the authority according to the marks of the candidates that they need to secure the marks more than or equal to higher than the cut-off and the candidates can check the cut-off through the online website. The cut-off list will be published through online mode and which will depend on various factors such as seats availability, total registration form, difficulty level of exam, category etc. 

PTU 2025 Counseling 

PTU 2025 counseling will be conducted in various rounds by the authority. For the counseling procedure only those candidates are able to participate who are eligible. 

The candidates will be required to pay the fees for each selected course of the amount Rs. 2,000.
