The JIPMER university provides placement for MBBS (UG 5 year) students with the average package of INR 12 LPA and for PG ( 3year) with the average package of INR 24 LPA. The average package which companies offer to other courses such as for B.Sc INR 6LPA, for MD/MS INR 24 LPA, for M.Sc Nursing/ M.PH INR 20 LPA and for 1 Year PG programmes INR 12 LPA.

JIPMER entrance exam will be a computer based Test 2. The duration of the exam will be 1hour 30min 3. There will be 100 questions in objective type.
- The exam will be conducted in English Medium only, 5. Each correct answer will get 4 marks 5. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response, 6. The qualifying percentile for general category is 50, for general PWD is 45 and for SC/ ST/ OBC is 40.
The JIPMER University 2024-2025 cut-offs are based on the entrance exam such as NEET UG , INI CET, INI SS for the field of MD/ MS/ MDS students and provide admission to only those students who can match the eligibility criteria in the set cut-off rank. The cut-off for MBBS can be released once the NEET counseling is conducted.
