JEE Main 2025 Result (Out), Cut-off (Out) and Counselling

JEE Main exam also known as Joint Entrance Exam and it is a National Level Entrance Exam which will be scheduled  through online mode and the exam is conducted by the NTA every year in January and April month in 2 sessions which provides admission to the candidates in UG Engineering programmes. For the candidates it is important to have knowledge about the JEE Main syllabus to crack JEE Main 2025 Exam and the exam contains two papers that is Paper 1 which include the course of B.Tech. and B.Arch and B.Planning courses comes under the Paper 2. 

This year, JEE Advanced Exam 2025 is to be conducted by IIT, Roorkee. For the admission to the IITs, JEE Main 2025 is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form 

Below are the important details for the application form 2025 candidates must check out the steps given below: 

  1. The application form of JEE Main will be released through online mode 
  2. The registration form will be filled by the candidates in the first week of November 2024 
  3. The passport size photograph and signature will be uploaded by the candidates for the application form in the given format. 
  4. If any detail found incorrect or incomplete by the candidate in the application form then the final submission of JEE Main 2025 application form will be incomplete. 
  5. The candidates will be able to make changes in the application form as the authority will provide the correction facility to the students.
  6. The authority will reject the multiple forms if they are filled by the candidates so candidates must form a single application form. 

Application fees: 

  1. The submission of the fees will be done by the candidates through online mode 
  2. The fees will be able to be paid by the candidates through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  3. Those candidates who are outside India will have to pay the Rs. 5,000 for boys, for girls (Rs. 4,000), for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL) Rs. 4,500 and for third gender the fee will be of Rs. 3,000 

How to Apply for JEE Main?

Below are the steps provided for the candidates for how to applying for the JEE Main 2025

  1. The candidates must go through the official website 
  2. Candidates can login with the help of using different available modes. 
  3. The candidates can now login by using system generated application number and pre-created password
  4. In the given format the candidates need to upload the passport size photographs, signature and PwD certificate. 
  5. The complete details must be rechecked by the candidates in the form 
  6. The registration fee will be submitted by the candidates using valid payment methods. 
  7. A confirmation page will appear on the screen once the payment is done by the candidates. 
  8. Candidates can take out the print of the application form once the fee will be submitted by them. 

 

JEE Main 2025 Result 

The JEE Main Result 2025 will be released for session 1 in second week of February 2025 and for the session 2 it will be released in third week of April 2025 for the students through online mode and the result will be based on the final answer key for downloading the result candidates need login credentials such as application number and password. And the result will include information such as candidate’s name, roll number, marks scored in each subject, result status etc. Students are advised to keep the hard copy of the result till admission procedure. 

JEE Main 2025 Admit card 

The JEE Main 2025 Admit card will be released after exam city slip through online mode for downloading the admit card candidates need login credentials. The admit card for session 1 will be released in the second week of January 2025 and it will be available in the third week of March 2025 for session 2. 

For the admit card students can contact the authority if they find any mistakes while checking the details related to it. For the students it will be compulsory to carry their admit card at the time of the exam along with one ID proof at the examination hall. 

JEE Main 2025 Score Card 

The JEE Main 2025 Score card will be released by the authority through online mode as no other facility will be available to the students. For the Scorecard students can contact the authority if they find any mistakes while checking the details related to it. Also for future use students can keep the hardcopy safe with them. 

JEE Main 2025 Cut-off 

For the cut-off students need to score minimum marks to qualify the examination and the cut-off list will be published via online mode by the authority in the pdf format after the exams of both the sessions.

JEE Main 2025 Counselling 

The counselling for JEE Main 2025 will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) through online mode which will begin  in May/June 2024. For providing the admission to the candidates they will set their criteria on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main and also based on their choices. Once the verification of documents and fees are submitted by the candidates then the admission will be given to the candidates. 

 

JEE Main 2025 Reservation 

The reservation criteria will be released through online mode by the authority and announced by the NTA. Below is the reservation criteria given as per the previous year:
