About Cluster University of Jammu
The Cluster University is situated in Jammu and Kashmir founded in 2016. It is a cluster of 5 colleges in Jammu city. The University provides various courses such as UG courses and integrated courses under various fields BSC, BA, MBA, BBA, MCOM, B.ed, MA. The University helps students to learn them in modern languages which excel their practical skills to high level skills.
The University takes admission on the Merit basis. The eligibility criteria for this college is based on 10+ 2 criteria with a 50% score. Candidates who match the criteria norms of university can apply for UG Horns based on CLUJET entrance exam. Also they follow some rules for it :
1. They visit online portal for website
2. For applying candidates must visit the site and then need to fill necessary documents.
3. After completing all the documents they need to upload it.
4. After this they choose the program for which they need to pursue.
5. At the end they required to pay application form fees750 for general and 650 for SC/ST
At the time of admission the university provides scholarships to the students who belong to minority groups and also provides the scholarship to deserving students who match the criteria of the university.
The University provides various benefits to their students in the form of IT Infrastructure, library, laboratory, Air conditioned campus, medical facility, internet access, gymnasium, digital classroom, canteen etc.
The University has its own Authorities and committes such as University council, University syndicate, University Complaint Committee, Academic Council, Board of studies, Anti Sexual Harassment cell, caste based discrimination, Equal opportunity community and these committes work for students well being so they feel free and safe in the campus.
There are 5 schools which are associated with Cluster University of Jammu named as School of teacher education, School of Humanities and liberal Arts, School of sciences, School of social sciences, School of Engineering and computer technology.
And there are also 5 colleges which are associated with this university and named as GGM Science college, GCW Gandhi Nagar, MAM College, SPMR College of Commerce, Government college of Education.
The campus provides placement to their students with an average package of 2LPA -3LPA in which only 10-20% students got placed with the companies like ICICI BANK, YES BANK and many more.
